Libelium will be demonstrating its cutting-edge IoT solutions designed to monitor and reduce urban pollution based on artificial intelligence and digital twins.
At Libelium, we are deeply committed to creating sustainable urban environments through innovative Internet of Things (IoT) solutions. The Cities Climate Action Summit provides a unique platform to collaborate with global leaders, policymakers, and technology experts who share our vision for cleaner, healthier cities. This year’s participation is driven by the opportunity to showcase how our IoT technology can play a pivotal role in addressing climate change and improving urban air quality. By being part of this summit, we can contribute to meaningful dialogues and foster partnerships that accelerate climate action.
This year at the Cities Climate Action Summit, we will be demonstrating our cutting-edge IoT solutions designed to monitor and reduce urban pollution based on artificial intelligence (AI) and digital twins. Our showcase will include the latest advancements in our air quality monitoring systems, which provide real-time data on pollutants and environmental conditions. Additionally, we will present our smart city platforms that integrate IoT sensors with AI to offer actionable insights for city planners and environmental agencies. Visitors will be able to see live demonstrations of how our technology works and understand the tangible benefits it brings to urban environments.

We are keen to learn about the latest trends, policies, and innovations in climate action from around the world. Specifically, we hope to gain insights into new regulatory frameworks, successful case studies of climate action in cities, and emerging technologies that complement our IoT solutions. Networking with other participants will provide us with diverse perspectives and potential collaborations that can enhance our offerings. We are also interested in understanding the challenges cities face in implementing climate strategies and how we can tailor our solutions to address these issues more effectively.
Cities need to adopt AI and digital twins to accelerate climate action. One successful example is Cartagena in Spain, which has integrated comprehensive IoT networks to monitor air quality, traffic, noise and weather to build an environmental digital twin of the city. With the EU imperative to design and manage the low emissions zone, Cartagena’s ‘datacratized’ approach is a vivid example to learn from.
