Collaboration is central to the success of public-private partnerships

We discuss setting up the right type of partnership for specific project types and identifying organisations that have the resource and expertise that will add value for cities.

Sessions here will focus primarily on the establishment of PPPs and shine a spotlight on successes where cities have worked with a range of different stakeholders, including local industry and academia, technology/consulting/engineering firms, banks and financial institutions (public or private).

The aim is to present as many successful of pilots as possible, particularly any that have scaled beyond pilot schemes.

Why Attend?

  1. Focus on Collaboration and Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs): Given the importance of these partnerships in climate action, attendees can expect sessions dedicated to establishing PPPs and showcasing successful collaborations between cities and various stakeholders, including local industry, academia, technology firms, and financial institutions. Learning about successful PPP models and case studies will equip city authority employees with actionable insights to accelerate the implementation of sustainable solutions in their own cities.
  2. Knowledge Sharing and Networks: The summit provides a platform for city authorities to engage in knowledge sharing and network building. Sessions will cover topics such as capacity building, sustainable procurement, and advocacy, offering opportunities to learn from peers and partner organizations like C40 and R-Cities. City authority employees can gain valuable insights into successful examples of city-to-city collaboration and knowledge-sharing, enabling them to adopt and adapt best practices for their own climate action initiatives.
