This report provides insight into the development of smart cities in Europe. Specifically, it focuses on how the challenges cities face in becoming ‘smart’ can be overcome.

The findings are based on a survey of 300 senior executives from technology companies, investment funds, banks, consultancies and government officials.

 

The survey was conducted in October and November 2014. Survey respondents were located in Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden and the UK.

 

The report was written in collaboration with The Lawyer Research Service, a division of The Lawyer.
