Artificial intelligence holds immense potential to revolutionise the way cities interact with their residents and visitors. By leveraging AI’s capabilities, cities can create dynamic, personalised experiences that cater to individual needs and preferences, making urban living more engaging and convenient.
In this webinar, we explore the VisitMadridGPT project, an innovative AI-driven virtual assistant developed in collaboration between Madrid Destino (the Madrid City Council Tourism Department) and Microsoft.
Designed to enhance the visitor experience in the city of Madrid, this project exemplifies how AI can go beyond basic transactional interactions to offer rich, personalised guidance and insights. From answering practical questions to providing tailored recommendations, VisitMadridGPT is revolutionising the way tourists explore and enjoy the city.
Joined by expert speakers from both sides of the project, attendees will gain insight into the development and implementation of the virtual assistant – the first of its kind from a Spanish city. Discover how the project team trained the AI model to deliver accurate, conversational responses and how the data gathered from visitor queries is informing and improving the city of Madrid’s marketing strategies.
