This invite-only session will focus on an in-depth exploration of the challenges we face and the sharing of successful solutions drawn from real-world projects within our cities today.
Amidst a working lunch, you’ll have ample opportunities to engage in roundtable discussions and debates, where individual city challenges and solutions can be explored, and valuable lessons can be learned.
This gathering marks the first of many conversations within our city leadership ecosystem. This discussion will focus on increasing the safety and security of communities and strengthening city infrastructure
13.00 – 13.50: Working Lunch and Sustainable Cities panel debate.
This exchange will focus on the urgent need to take bold actions to address the impacts of climate change, and discuss how technology can be an enabler to create resilient, safe, and sustainable communities.

Roundtable #1: Urban Mobility
We'll be looking to cover the following discussion points:
- What are the most pressing mobility challenges your city is facing today, and how are you addressing them with technology and innovation?
- How can cities better integrate various modes of transportation (e.g., public transit, cycling, ride-sharing) to create a seamless and sustainable urban mobility system?
- How can we ensure that new mobility solutions are accessible and affordable for all residents, including those in underserved communities?
- How can data analytics and smart city infrastructure be leveraged to optimise traffic flow, reduce congestion, and enhance safety in urban areas?
Roundtable #2: Sustainability & Climate Action
We'll be looking to cover the following discussion points:
- How are cities working towards achieving their specific climate action goals in collaboration with technology and sustainability organisations?
- What strategies are being implemented to transition to renewable energy sources within urban environments, and how can these strategies be accelerated?
- What steps are being taken to make cities more resilient to the impacts of climate change, including extreme weather events and rising sea levels?
- How can cities engage and educate their residents to actively participate in sustainability and climate action efforts, and what role can technology play in fostering this engagement?
